Saturday-Get Your Shopping Done Outdoors!

Nope, it's not going to rain.

It's not going to rain because....

I'm back at the Scripps Ranch Farmer's Market today!

I'll be bringing hats, new shoes, yummy leg warmers, clippies, bibs and all the fun accessories you could need for the Holiday weekend and weeks to come!

I will have some clothes - and I have more in my car, store and house perfect for the Holidays that just need tags so don't be afraid to ask or get an appointment.

About The Store

Fresh Picked is a Children's Boutique run by a mom of three. Selling mainly clothing, accessories, shoes, toys, blankets and other boutique gift and practical items at affordable prices. I even have a fantastic selection of high-end quality resale clothing and a small selection of small accessories in excellent condition.

Carrying sizes and gifts from Newborn to Juniors and Maternity, I am constantly adding new ideas to the store to hopefully become a successful business. The newest addition will be appoinment hours for personalized shopping experiences and the online store as well as branching out more into fun events like the Scripps Ranch Farmer's Market, Community Fairs and The Baby Expo!

You can search around the blog for specific questions by using the toolbar above and typing in a key word such as "shoes" or "events". I also list new vendors I am working with and try and post pictures of fun popular products.

If you haven't read from the beginning (or don't want to/have the time/care :) my concept is all about a combination of fashionable resale and practical and fun new items. All of this in a spacious boutique atmosphere (I keep a lot of my stock at home so the store doesn't get that "thrift store" look).
Well, so the spacious atmosphere is gone and items are being organzied and stored to be ready for appointments or shipping. Hopefully, a few more weeks and the overhaul will be done. I am however open for business again! Just still working on decorating. Unpacking. Oh, and unpacking ;)

Now with the move and online store, some things have changed and will all be explained. I still carry the same merchandise and am hoping to pick up new vendors as business will hopefully increase hitting a national market and direct contact with customers, including gift wrap and shipping.

All my new vendors I work with are companies that were started by other moms. "Moms for Moms" And in this economy, affordable quality things are what us moms need! Whether it is a fantastic gently used resale dress paired with some adorable new legwarmers or a last-minute shower or birthday gift, I do my best to have something for everyone. Recycling clothing is great in more than one ways.

Without getting too wordy (or did I do that already?), I do not carry big items like strollers or cribs unless I make an exception (usually for myself or a friend) on consignment. I have a playroom complete with toys, books, chairs (including two rocking chairs) and a changing area. I have coffee, tea, a microwave, sink...
Okay, well no playroom anymore and storage is mostly off site so I do have some of those items I am considering selling. Contstantly racking my brain for new ideas and welcoming input- I would love to keep up this business and am still working on building up a steady clientele. I do buy, as needed & by appointment, for store credit or (rarely) take an item on consignment for cash. Currently I am FULL on inventory and not buying anything at this time.

The store is currently open by appointment only. And on sunny Saturdays I am often found working at the Scripps Ranch Farmer's Market... Lots of other fun upcoming events also! By appointment only, I can help focus on customer service, direct attention to having the items you need ready for you, etc. Also, I have been focusing on a lot of new things and volunteering and have made my schedule flexible enough that I can do that AND be on-call for customers, while still getting to be "my kids' mom".

As the online store had a huge setback due to the sudden move, keep checking as it is a priority. In the meantime, you can still have your orders shipped- just call! Gift wrapping also offered.
